About Bret williams

Bret Williams has spent more than six decades living with the questions at the heart of this book.

He is a husband, father, and grandfather who has wrestled with the silence of God since childhood — through seasons of loss, doubt, and unexpected grace. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he briefly served as pastor of a small Unity congregation, an experience that deepened both his questions and his trust in a quieter kind of presence.

Bret is also the author of three traditionally published technical books on internet and e-commerce technologies, which he promoted through speaking engagements and events across the United States and Europe.

Still God is his first work of contemplative fiction. He lives in Texas.
